Canva restructure to hit about 1,270 jobs before Christmas

Sydney design platform Canva will restructure about 1,270 roles, or 22% of its global staff, with some jobs cut and others changed or relocated. CEO Melanie Perkins told staff growth had slowed for the first time in a decade. Sydney becomes the main hub for product teams. Departing staff will get at least six months’ pay, plus US$10,000 grants to start businesses.
